Eagles Dominate in Friday Night Lights Against Brewton-Parker

Waleska, GA - The Mat Eagles secured a dominant victory in a dual meet against the Brewton-Parker Barons on Friday night. With an impressive score of 42:12, the Eagles showcased their strength and strategic prowess across various weight classes.
Lee Camp led the charge with a rapid pin at 2 minutes, while Angel Banda and Garrett Pace both achieved major decisions with scores of 9-1 and 12-4, respectively. Additional stellar performances came from CJ Shadinger, who earned a fall at 1:47, AuShaud Evans, and Nathan Napolitano with technical falls at 1:19 and 3:00 marking the 15-0 and 16-0 victories. John Lovett and Caleb Pruitt completed the series of falls, securing their pins at 3:22 and 3:52 respectively.
The Eagles have a solid lineup, with several veteran wrestlers watching or nursing injuries in tonight's match. Several top-level wrestlers compete in the 141, 149, and 157 weight classes. As the season progresses, the Eagles will make some noise at the conference and tournaments.
Looking ahead, the Eagles will compete at the Life University Open on Saturday. When the NAIA Coach's Poll came out on Tuesday, they moved to #10 in the country. They will look to keep moving up the ranks, as two of their AAC opponents are #2 (Life) and #3 (Southeastern).
