Reinhardt University Volleyball Secures Dominant Home Victory Over Campbellsville
Waleska, GA. - In a gripping regular-season volleyball game in Waleska, GA on Monday night, the Reinhardt University Eagles soared past the Campbellsville Tigers with a clean sweep of 3-0. The victory solidifies Reinhardt's reputation, coming off their #13 ranking in the latest NAIA Top 15 Coaches Poll.
The Eagles demonstrated remarkable teamwork and skill throughout the sets, winning with scores of 25-21, 25-23, and 25-22. Key player Jakub Aniolczyk led the attack with a notable performance of 13 kills and four blocks, also contributing five digs to the team's defense. Gabriel Gutierrez followed closely with 12 kills and four digs, while Christian De Leon supported with six kills, two blocks, and one ace.
Not only did Reinhardt's players excel in attacks, but also in serving and assists. Bruno Dewes delivered a game-high with 34 assists and added a couple of aces to his tally, standing out as a central figure in orchestrating the plays for the Eagles. Alex Sanchez brought defensive prowess with a remarkable 12 digs and topped the serving game with three aces.
Looking ahead, the Eagles prepare to host Truett McConnell Bears on Tuesday, March 11th, at 6:30pm. The team's current record shines at 13-2 overall and 6-0 in the conference, hinting at their strong bid for sustained success in the ongoing season.
