RU Ends Regular Season with Record of 26-1 After Sweep at Campbellsville

Waleska, GA – The Reinhardt men's volleyball team played in their last regular-season match on Friday night at Campbellsville University. The Eagles ultimately swept the Tigers 3-0 (25-16, 25-23, 27-25). 

Offensivley, Rodolfo Biegelmeyer led with 11 kills, while Gabriel Gutierrez added 10. Bruno Dewes and Ricardo Mujica ran the winning offense as Dewes led with 19 assists, and Mujica added 17. Serving wise, Victor Pacheco, Biegelmeyer, and Gutierrez each added 1 service ace. 

Defensivley, Alex Sanchez led with 8 digs. Dalton Fellows has had a tremendous blocking week, totaling 8 this match. Following him was Victor Pacheco and Christian De Leon with 4 a piece. 

With this win, the Eagles are ending the season with an impressive 26-1 overall record before heading into the AAC Tournament later this week.  

After a dominating season, Reinhardt earned the #1 seed heading into the tournament, giving them a first-round bye. The Eagles will be playing on Friday, April 19th, and times and opponents are TBA.
