This game also served as Senior Night as they honored the 2023-24 Men's Volleyball Seniors as they played in their last home game as a Reinhardt Eagle. The four Seniors celebrated were Oscar Alejandre, Jake Pennypacker, Victor Pacheco, and Dalton Fellows.
Here is what Coach B and Tessa had to say to this year's Seniors:
"First we want to thank you for trusting in us and joining our program. Oscar we are happy you came aboard this season and our hope is you have had a great time and feel like a part of the RUVB family. To Dalton, Victor, and Jake it's so important you know how proud we are of you. Take a second right now and just think about the last few years. To me it's not just the starting of the program. It's all the individual ups and downs you've experienced along the way and a lot of people these days bail when it doesn't go how they want all the time. You each have grown so much and shown so much character by sticking it out and you have come out the other side better men because of that.
Thank you for the support you've shown Coach B through what he's been battling, and thank you for your hardwork, support and respect you've given to Tessa and Coach Selway as they have done everything they can for you. I'm sure Victor remembers all the fun times he and Tessa spent together studying to get here today. We love you and want all 4 of you to remember, being a part of this family doesn't end after this season! You are part of this family for as long as it exists and if you ever need us, all you have to do is reach out, for anything at all!
God Bless and we know you are going to find success in anything you do as you move forward after graduating."
Up Next: The Eagles will be playing in their last regular-season match this upcoming Friday, April 12th, at Campbellsville University at 5pm.
