RUMVB’s Rodolfo Biegelmeyer & Alex Sanchez Earns AAC Player of the Week Honors!!

WALESKA, Ga. - Rodolfo Biegelmeyer of Reinhardt is the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Volleyball Attacker of the Week, while Alex Sanchez of Reinhardt and Ayden Keeter of Webber International are the Defender and Setter of the Week, respectively.

The league announced the awards on Monday.

This is the eighth edition of the awards for the 2024 season. The next set of awards will be announced on April 8.

AAC Attacker of the Week
Rodolfo Biegelmeyer - Reinhardt - Sophomore - Farroupilha, Brazil

  • Helped Reinhardt to a 3-0 record.
  • Averaged 4.11 kills per set and posted a .394 hitting percentage.
  • Posted a high of 16 kills in a 3-0 win over Life.
  • Had 37 kills, 1 assist, 9 aces, 12 digs, and 6 blocks.
  • This is his second weekly honor of the season.

AAC Defender of the Week
Alex Sanchez - Reinhardt - Sophomore - Palma de Mallorca, Spain

  • Averaged 4.11 digs per set in helping Reinhardt to a 3-0 record.
  • Tallied a high of18 digs in a 3-0 over Life.
  • Had 43 digs, 1 kill, 6 assists, and 5 aces on the week.
  • This is his third weekly honor of the season.

AAC Setter of the Week
Ayden Keeter - Webber International - Sophomore - Yorktown, Va.

  • Averaged 9.70 assists per set as Webber went 4-0 on the week.
  • Posted a high of 33 assists in a 3-0 win over Central State (Ohio).
  • Had 97 assists, 4 aces, 19 digs, 5 blocks, and 4 kills.
  • This is his fourth weekly honor of the season.
