Waleska, GA – After earning a successful sweep over Webber University the night before to become #1 in the AAC, the Eagles then hosted a tri-match on Saturday against Warner and Campbellsville. The Eagles ultimately won both and extended their record to 20-1 overall and are 9-1 In the AAC.
The Eagles matched up against AAC opponents, Warner, first and quickly earned the 3-0 sweep (3-0; 25-17, 25-21, 25-10).
Rodolfo Biegelmeyer led the offense with 12 total kills and hit a .526. Gabriel Gutierrez was next with 8 kills (.500), while Victor Pacheco and Dalton Fellows each added 7. Bruno Dewes led in assists with 23, while Jake Pennypacker added 13. Defensivley, Alex Sanchez totaled 15 digs. Rodolfo Biegelmeyer, Victor Pacheco, andChristian De Leon each added 3 blocks.
Then RU played Campbellsville and earned another win (3-1; 21-25, 25-19, 25-21, 25-23).
Rodolfo Biegelmeyer slammed down 20 kills, while Gabriel Gutierrez added 16. Bruno Dewes totaled 38 assists, while Ricardo Mujica added 19. Alex Sanchez continues to run the backrow, leading in digs with 22. Jakub Aniolczyk led in blocks with 6.
