Eagles MVB Goes 3-0 in Series Sweep Over Life at Home

Waleska, GA – The Reinhardt men's volleyball team hosted AAC opponents, Life University, on Wednesday night in a very important match-up. The Eagles ultimately swept Life 3-0 after a very consistent and resilient effort from RU (3-0; 25-18, 26-24, 25-20). 

 The offense from RU has been tremendous the past few games as the Eagles hit a .361 in this match to earn the sweep over a very good Life team. RU had 3 different players who tallied 13 kills a piece. These players include Gabriel Gutierrez who hit a .773, Victor Pacheco who hit a .550, and Rodolfo Biegelmeyer who hit a .409. Bruno Dewes and Ricardo Mujica ran a great offense, as Dewes threw up 26 assists, and Mujica added 14. Dewes also had 3 service aces. Once again, Alex Sanchez recorded the most digs with 11, while Bruno Dewes added 9.  

The Eagles will now travel to Carolina univeristy for a series of games versus Carolina, Cumberland, and Roanoke College. The first game will take place this upcoming Friday, February 23^rd, versus Cumberland at 6pm. The following two games will take place the next day on Saturday.
