RU MVB Splits on Weekend in Flordia VS. Webber & Warner

Babson Park, FL – The Reinhardt men's volleyball team took a trip to Flordia this past weekend, to play AAC opponents, the Webber Warriors and the Warner Royals. The first game took place at Webber on Friday night, where the Warriors ultimately won 3-1 (3-1; 15-25, 17-25, 26-24, 21-25). Then, on the following day, Reinhardt played at Warner to earn the AAC sweep (3-0; 25-14, 25-22 25-17). 

The Eagles now sit with a record of 5-1 and 3-1 in the AAC. The next game for the Eagles will be an away match-up at Truett-McConnell on Tuesday, February 20^th, at 6pm. 

Game One: Reinhardt 1, Webber 3 (15-25, 17-25, 26-24, 21-25)

 Outstanding Performers:

• Gabriel Gutierrez led the Eagles's offense, totaling 11 kills, while Rodolfo Biegelmeyer had 10.
• Bruno Dewes totaled a whopping 34 asssists.
• Alex Sanchez had the most digs with 19.
• Jakub Aniolczyk stood tall at the net, recording 7 total blocks.

• Bruno Dewes ran the RU offense to record 17 assists.
• Alex Sanchez took control of the defense to lead in digs with 17.
• Victor Pacheco also led in service aces with 6.
• Jakub Aniolczyk recorded 5 blocks, while Rayner Sarmiento recorded 4.
