Eagles Travel to Play Limestone University

Waleska, GA –  The Reinhardt Eagles Men's Volleyball team traveled to play a good NCAA DII team, the Limestone University Saints on Saturday, March 18^th. Limestone ultimately won 3 sets to none but this game was scheduled to create solid competition and help the Eagles get better before entering the conference tournament coming up in a couple of weeks (0-3; 21-25, 18-25, 17-25). Reinhardt ultimately led in multiple statistic categories including kills, assists, and digs but Limestone was able to maintain their hitting errors to just 8 to Reinhardt's 23. Rodolfo Biegelmeyer led the offense with 11 kills while Chase Cross had 5. Bruno Dewes totaled 31 assists and 6 digs. Victor Pacheco added 2 service aces. Reinhardt is currently sitting in 2^nd in the AAC with record of 6-3 and 16-5 overall.

 "Even in defeat, all the Honor and Glory goes to God! It was an honor to share the sidelines with my coaching mentor, Steve Benson, today and congrats to him, his staff, and his players on a well played match. Steve was my coaching director when I coached in Flordia for USA-High Performance. I learned a lot from him and he's not just a great coach but an even better friend!

 Today we simply got outplayed by a better team. I'm humble and honest enough to admit that. It's going to take a lot more focus to the execution if our team wants to be able to compete with higher level teams like this!"
