Thoughts from Coach B:
"Win or lose, All the Honor and Glory goes to God!
Great job by our team this weekend! In match one, we were able to really use our depth so it was a good team win! It's always good to get that first match when you're playing in a tri-match as it can create some momentum and confidence going into the second match.
Today, the second match brought us up against a very good Thomas More team, who is having a very solid season so far! They are a very well-balanced team, well coached, and are very talented! We were excited and looking forward to getting to play this non-conference game match to see how we matched up with a very good team.
Early in the season, we had a trip to Florida and we had some tight moments that didn't end well. I am so impressed and proud of our team and the growth they've shown as we have worked to get better in those situations. Today, down 22-24 in set 3, our guys didn't hang their heads and had no negativity; they stayed together and believe they can pull out games like that now!
It's great to go 1-0 twice today but we will go back to 0-0 and try to prepare this week to go 1-0 in our next match!"
Up Next: The next match-ups are important as the Eagles will be playing the two teams that have given them their only 2 losses of the season thus far. First the Eagles will be playing Warner University this upcoming Friday, March 3rdat home at 7:00pm. Then the following day, March 4th, the Eagles will be playing Webber University at 11:00am.
