Records Keep Falling for RU Track & Field
Cleveland, TN - Reinhardt Track & Field is coming up on the end of the season meets. The records still keep dropping week-to-week with the goals of hitting their peaks at the AAC Championships and qualifying for NAIA Nationals. This past weekend, the team was competing at the Lee University Fast Break Invitational. Several athletes improved their times and distances with either season-best or personal-best.
Two-time National Champ, David Friedberg, keeps the NAIA lead, and his season-best throw of 69.48 meters. Friedberg is already a qualifier for the NAIA Nationals with higher goals that he and Coach Josh White have set for later in the season.

• Nekhi Fisher: High Jump- 1.95m (SB)
• Austin Wright: Pole Vault- 4.30m (SB)
• Billy Waters: Hammer Throw- 44.18m (PR), Shot Put- 12.81m (SB)
• Caleb Hamilton: Discus- 40.85m (PR)
• David Friedberg: Javelin- 69.48m (SB)
The Eagles will be at the Berry College Field Day this weekend and then the AAC Championships the following week.
NAIA Nationals will not be until May 22-24.
