WALESKA, Ga. - David Friedberg of Reinhardt and Bryn Woodall of Milligan are the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Men's Outdoor Field and Track Athletes of the Week, the league announced Monday.
This is the fifth edition of the weekly honors for the 2024 season. The next set of awards will be announced on April 15.
AAC Field Athlete of the Week
David Friedberg - Reinhardt - Senior - Ellabell, Ga.
- Won the javelin at the Lee Fast Break Invitational.
- Hit the NAIA 'A' Standard with a throw of 69.48 meters.
- This is his second weekly honor this season.
AAC Track Athletes of the Week
Bryn Woodall - Milligan - Junior - Conwy, Wales
- Hit the NAIA 'A' standard in the 1500 at the Tennessee Invite.
- Posted a time of 3:48.15, which is the third-fastest time in the NAIA.
- Ran the 13th-fastest time in the NAIA in the 800 with a time of 1:52.97.
- This is his second weekly award this season.
