Friedberg Excels at Florida Relays; Team Sets New Records at Legends Invitational
Carrollton, GA & Gainesville, FL - Reinhardt Track & Field had a busy weekend, especially, for David Friedberg who traveled to Florida on Friday to compete in the Floirda Relays on the campus of the University of Florida. After this, the Men's and Women's teams competed on Saturday at the University of West Georgia for the UWG Legends Track Meet.
There were several school records and personal records set at the UWG Legends event. The complete list of records and meet hights are below.
Friedberg's mark of 65.47m sets him as the #1 throw in Javelin this year for the NAIA and the mark put him at #5 in the Florida Relays. The Florida Relays has on NCAA DI competition is some of the best in the United States and the world. Friedberg is moving towards elite world-class numbers in the Javelin.
