Friedberg, Weddington, & Williams Represent RU at NAIA Nationals
Gulf Shores, Ala. - After having a very successful outdoor track and field season, David Friedberg, Trisstan Weddington, and Kerion Williams will be the representatives for Reinhardt Men's Track at the 70th ANNUAL MEN'S OUTDOOR TRACK & FIELD NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS which will take place at Mickey Miller Blackwell Stadium Wednesday, May 25th - Friday, May 27th.
David Friedberg will compete in the Javelin Throw after having the 6th best qualifying distance in the nation at 61.20m. Friedberg is a sophomore in the Eagles Track & Field Program.
Trisstan Weddington will be competing in the Long Jump after having the 3rd best qualifying distance in all of the NAIA at 7.55m. His distance was one of the best in all NCAA Division I, II, III, and NAIA. Weddington is a freshman in the Reinhardt Track & Field Program.
Kerion Williams will be competing in two events for the Eagles. He will be joining Weddington in the Long Jump and he will also be competing in the Triple Jump. Williams qualified for the Long Jump by hitting the mark of 7.33m was the 7th best distance. His Triple Jump qualification was 14.56m which was the 22nd best distance in the NAIA Outdoor Track Season.
