Track and Field Hits More National Marks at Life (Ga.)
MARIETTA, Ga. – (Results) Eagle track and field headed back to Life (Ga.) on Friday as more student-athletes looked to lock up their spot in the NAIA National Championship later this month.
As a team, Reinhardt finished in second out of four squads.
"Thrilled for these guys to hit the "A" standard in the 4x1 and punch their ticket to nationals," head coach Jordan Turner said. "Any race has high and lows and this one was no different. Each guy was challenged, and they each trusted their teammate to do their part, and it resulted in another trip to nationals for our 4x1 squad.
"Their best race is ahead and that's what I look forward to at nationals for them. Jalen had a great day jumping and had a lifetime-best in the long jump off a very short season; I am proud of each of them."
The hometown club looks to take down more national marks on May 15 at the Lee University Last Chance.
