New Records and NAIA Qualifers Set at JDL Fast Track
Winston-Salem, NC—Over the weekend, Reinhardt Track and Field made the long journey to the other side of North Carolina to compete at the Annual JDL Flat is Fast Invitational at the indoor complex at JDL Fast Track. This is the location of the AAC Championships, which are coming up in a few weeks.
Senior Andrew Paolozzi put his mark on the 2025 Indoor Season, qualifying for the NAIA Nationals in the Weighted Throw with a throw of 17.54 meters. Paolozzi is no stranger to the NAIA Nationals, where he consistently qualifies year after year for the Eagles in both the Indoor and Outdoor Track Seasons.
Joining Paolozzi is freshman Carter Butterfield, who qualified in the 3k Race Walk event. This is a new one for the Eagles, and Butterfield is leading the way, creating a new school record with a time of 15:55.
