Andrew Paolozzi Qualifies for NAIA Nationals at Life University Throws Competition
Marietta, GA - For the second year in a row, Reinhardt Track and Field Throws Coach, Josh White, took a group of throwers and jumpers to the 3rd Annual Super Bowl Throw-Off. The Eagles continue to strive for the ultimate goal of hitting the standard mark needed in order to qualify for the NAIA Indoor Track and Field Championships.
Several Eagles keep improving their distances including Samatha Cramer - who hit her season best in the high jump. Marquia White has been steadily breaking her personal record each meet and at this one - she set a new Reinhardt Indoor Track and Field record.
Andrew Paolozzi was the highlight of the SB Throw-Off meet. Paolozzi managed to throw 17.59 meters in the weighted throw which meets the NAIA Track and Field A standard. So far, he is the only one to qualify for the NAIA Nationals. His throw of 17.50 meters is a personal best and New School Record!
Below are the rest of the standout performers on the Men's and Women's side. This weekend, both teams will be attending the AAC Indoor Track and Field Championships. The AAC Championship will be the final place for those getting close to the standards for their event.
