Fisicaro Leads Eagles to 5-2 WIN Over Young Harris

Canton, GA - Reinhardt Men's and Women's Tennis played the Mountain Lions of Young Harris on Tuesday afternoon.  It was a bright, sunny February day at Bridgemill Athletic Club - perfect weather for tennis and the Men's Team made the most of it winning 5-2. The Women's Team had several close matches but were only able to come away with one singles win.

Elyse Standing was the sole winner in singles for the Women's Team winning 6-4, 6-1 over her opponent.  Camila Neyra took her match to three sets just barely losing to the #1 Young Harris singles player.  Pilar Beccera also took her match to three sets and almost came away with the final set win. Beccera lost the third set 6-7.

On the men's side, Luchi Fisicaro led the Eagles as the #1 singles player and #2 on the doubles where he played with Pol Masafret.  Fisicaro and Masafret won 6-0 in doubles.  Fisicaro won his singles match 6-0, 6-2.  Also winning on the men's side was Ilyas Kouchairi in the #2 spot, Zak Khalil at #3, and Juan Vallejo in the sixth position.

The Eagles will be back in action on Friday versus Xavier from Louisiana, who are ranked in the NAIA.  They will be at Bridgemill Athletic Club again with the matches starting at 11 am.
