AAC Men's Soccer Awards Announced
Inaki Moreno of Milligan is the Player of the Year, while Callum Edwards of Union is the Offensive Player of the Year, the Freshman of the Year, and the Golden Boot Award winner. Sohya Yamamoto of Columbia International is the Defensive of the Year, and Patrick Sweeney of Milligan and Jonathan Shaw are the Co-Coaches of the Year.
The awards were voted on and selected by the men's soccer coaches of the AAC.
Fourteen players earned a spot on the All-AAC First Team with 14 making the second team. Dozens of players made the grade to earn a spot on the All-Academic Team, while 10 were named to the Champions of Character Team.
From Reinhardt University, Rafael Pais and Elijah Clark were named to the ALL AAC 1st Team as midfielder and goalkeeper. Forward Maxime Correia was named to the All-AAC 2nd Team as a forward. Defender Ivan Patta was named Champion of Character for Reinhardt.
