Eagles Men's Soccer Receive All-Conference Honors
Waleska, GA - The Eagles Men's Soccer Program was honored with several postseason conference awards by the AAC. The Eagles were able to get 4 members on the All-Conference First Team and one on the All-Conference Second Team.
Blake White, Gabriel Stefansson, Pavel Dashin, and Rafael Pais all were named to the First Team, and Paul Nitsch was named to the Second Team. White led the Eagles in scoring this season followed closely by Dashin. Pais was having a tremendous season before breaking his arm midway through the season. The loss of his experience and leadership made things tough for the Eagles, but the team still pushed through and was tied for the conference lead with just a couple of weeks left in the regular season. Stefansson and Nitsch were the rocks that held everything together on the backline for the Eagles - often holding opponents scoreless. The Eagles ended tied with Tennessee Wesleyan with four members on the All-Conference First Team.
Nathan Seery received the recognition of the Champions of Character Team for the Eagles.
