AAC Tournament Quarterfinals Set for Men's & Women's Soccer
Waleska, GA - Reinhardt Men's and Women's Soccer are set to compete in the AAC Quarterfinals this weekend. The Women are scheduled to play CIU on Saturday at Ken White Field at 5:30 PM and the Men will be playing at Union on Friday at 5 PM.
Coach Johnson's Men's Teams will be led by Blake White who is the leading scorer for the Eagles this season followed closely behind in goals by fellow striker, Pavel Dashin. The midfield and defense will be locked down by Maxime Correia, Raphael Mospanyuk, Brady Craig, and Gabriel Stefansson. The Eagles have been playing great all season despite having a few injury setbacks. No matter what gets thrown at this team, they stand in there and fight and typically come out on top. Look for the Eagles who are sitting as 5th seed in the tournament to make some noise on who gets to the finals.
The Women's Team has be led all season by a strong defense with Ella Higdon, Ashley Frye, Adriana Garcia, Kirsten Gray, and Sarah Bambrick all season holding many teams scoreless for the majority of AAC games. The offense has come from several Eagles this season including AAC leading goal scorer, Carrie Consolino. She is joined in the attack by Kira Council, Ryelyn Wells, and Madeline Myers. just to name a few. The team is loaded with players that can attack the goal and usually put up lots of points in the games. Look for this to continue and the Eagles have a very successful tournament.
