The game witnessed critical moments, especially late in the third quarter when Lawrence Tech narrowed the gap to just one goal. However, Reinhardt's resilient spirit shone through as they scored the final three goals in the fourth quarter, decisively securing their victory. Ethan Rogers and Michael Scoleri held firm as goalies, with Rogers making 7 saves from 10 shots on goal.
Shackelford had the final two goals of the game in the fourth quarter, which put the game away for the Eagles. Ison had the last goal of the third quarter, which was the tenth goal for the Eagles and ended up being the game-winner.
The defense had an excellent game in from of Scoleri and Rogers. Mason King, Gabe Turner, and Joshua Shackelford played intense games controlling the attack of the Blue Devils, especially in the final two quarters, which let the Eagles pull away for the win.
Looking ahead, the Eagles have their sights set on their next game against the Montreat Cavaliers scheduled for this Saturday in North Carolina. With their current record standing at 5-1 overall and 2-1 in the AAC, the Eagles are keen on maintaining their winning momentum as they progress through the season.
