Waleska, GA - In a captivating matchup under the lights at Ken White, the Reinhardt Eagles secured a hard-fought victory against the visiting Madonna Crusaders with a final score of 12-9. This match featured two of the NAIA Top 10 lacrosse teams, with the Eagles ranked #3 and the Crusaders at #6, showcasing a high-level competition filled with strategic gameplay and dynamic performances.
The game kicked off with both teams displaying strong offense and defense, but Reinhardt managed to pull ahead with a halftime score of 6-3. Notable players such as Benjamin Shackelford, who scored three goals and delivered three assists, and Cameron Ison, with three goals including the game-winning goal, were instrumental in maintaining the Eagles' lead. Tyrique Robinson and Luke Greer also contributed significantly, each adding two goals to the scoreboard. Robsinson's size and speed proved too much for the Crusader defenders as he rolled to a commanding goal in the final five minutes.
