Eagles Tap Former Standout Brady Hanak as Interim Head Coach
Waleska, GA - Executive Director of Athletics Jonathan Burton announced on Tuesday this week the new hire for Reinhardt Men's Lacrosse. Former standout player, All-American, and NAIA National Champion - Brady Hanak - has been named the Interim Head Coach for the Eagles this spring.
Hanak comes to Reinhardt after playing for the Eagles from 2020-2024. During his time with the Eagles, Hanak was a leader on the attack, scoring 147 goals and dishing out 90 assists. He helped the Eagles win two NAIA National Championships and three AAC Tournament Championships and was an All-Conference performer. Hanak played his high school lacrosse at Kell High School in Cobb County, GA, before attending four years at Reinhardt.
Burton added, "We are excited to have Brady join us in an interim role for the spring season. His experience within our program as a player and now as a coach is exactly what we need during this time of transition. This will also allow Brady to see where he fits professionally on his personal goals for coaching collegiately. We know his playing history and the contributions to the program here at Reinhardt, now we look forward to watching his growth as a head coach."
Hanak will hit the ground running in his new role with Reinhardt Men's Lacrosse. The team will have an exhibition game this Saturday at Ken White Field and the official season will start Saturday, February 8th, versus Concordia.
