Waleska, GA - Reinhardt Men's Lacrosse had another lopsided win on Monday with a 27 to 2 victory over the Trojans of Missouri Baptist. The Eagles dominated and led from start to finish in this one and the game was never in question.
Reinhardt scored 10 goals in the first quarter and 8 in the second quarter. At the end of the first quarter, the team scored 5 goals in less than one minute. The halftime score was 18-0.
In the second half, the Eagles scored 6 and 8 in the third and fourth quarters respectively and the Trojans were finally able to get on the board with less than one minute into the fourth quarter. Goalkeeper, Liam Wright made sure he kept the Eagles on the attach saving 6 shots on goal and letting zero by him.
Brady Hanak led all scorers with 7 goals and he was followed again by JR Sess who had 4 goals. Sess also had 6 assists. Beau Fischer had four goals as well and two Eagles ended up with 3 goals each. Ethan Lux and Cameron Cochran both had 3 goals in the game. Cochran was solid all-around finishing with 8 assists, which led the team, and 6 ground balls. His 6 ground balls were second to the face-off man - Stefan Duckett - who finished with 17 ground balls.
Jason Marx, Dillon Shackleford, and Mason King all had 2 caused turnovers each to help the Eagles defensively.
Reinhardt will be on the road this Saturday visiting SCAD-Savannah for a 1 pm start. This will be the first conference game for the Eagles this season. The game is pay-per-view only and can be found at the following link:
