WALESKA, Ga. - James Chance of Montreat and Cameron Cochran of Reinhardt are the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Men's Lacrosse Defensive and Offensive Players of the Week, the league announced Monday.
This is the fifth edition of the weekly honors for the 2023 season. The next set of awards will be announced on April 3.
AAC Offensive Player of the Week
Cameron Cochran - Reinhardt - Senior - Marietta, Ga.
- Tallied 5 goals and 5 assists in helping Reinhardt defeat Cumberlands 12-11 in overtime.
- Scored the game-winner with 3:14 on the clock in overtime.
- Had 6 groundballs.
- This is his first weekly award this season.
AAC Defensive Player of the Week
James Chance - Montreat - Freshman - Waxhaw, N.C.
- Recorded 14 saves in a 12-6 win over St. Andrews.
- Posted a .700 save percentage.
- This is his first weekly award this season.
