Week 4: AAC Men's Lacrosse Players of the Week
WALESKA, Ga. - Nik Kubik of Cumberlands and Carter Maurice of Reinhardt are the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Men's Lacrosse Defensive and Offensive Players of the Week, the league announced Monday.
This is the fourth edition of the weekly honors for the 2023 season. The next set of awards will be announced on March 27.
AAC Offensive Player of the Week
Carter Maurice - Reinhardt - Junior - Powder Springs, Ga.
- Tallied 8 goals in helping Reinhardt defeat No. 7 Aquinas (Mich.) 17-8.
- Scored his 8 goals on 11 shots, 9 of which were on goal.
- Had 3 groundballs.
- This is his first weekly award this season.
AAC Defensive Player of the Week
Nik Kubik - Cumberlands - Graduate Student - Chicago, Ill.
- Won 21-of-31 face-offs as Cumberlands went 1-1 on the week.
- Posted an .677 face-off winning percentage.
- Had 4 groundballs.
- This is his first weekly award this season.
