Week 3: AAC Men's Lacrosse Players of the Week
WALESKA, Ga. - Kyle Gasior of Tennessee Wesleyan and JR Sess of Reinhardt are the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Men's Lacrosse Defensive and Offensive Players of the Week, the league announced Monday.
This is the third edition of the weekly honors for the 2023 season. The next set of awards will be announced on March 20.
AAC Offensive Player of the Week
JR Sess - Reinhardt - Senior - Woodstock, Ga.
- Tallied 6 goals and 1 assist in helping Reinhardt defeat Webber 15-14.
- Scored the game-winning goal with 1:00 to play.
- Had 2 groundballs.
- This is his first weekly award this season.
AAC Defensive Player of the Week
Kyle Gasior - Tennessee Wesleyan - JSenior - Rocky Ridge, Md.
- Won 47-of-58 face-offs as Tennessee Wesleyan went 1-1 on the week.
- Posted an .810 face-off winning percentage.
- Had 34 groundballs.
- This is his first weekly award this season.
