Brady Hanak Scores Seven in Win over St. Andrews
Waleska, GA - Reinhardt Lacrosse keeps on rolling game after game this season picking up wins and putting up big numbers. The Eagles made quick work of the visiting Knights of St. Andrews winning 27 to 1.
It took a total of two minutes in the first quarter to decide the winner of this game. Freshman star player, Ethan Lux, scored in the first minute of the game from an assist from Brady Hanak. In less than a minute, Wyatt Maddox would get another goal to put the Eagles up 2-0.
St. Andrews would not get on the board until the second quarter and the Eagles had already scored nine goals. Reinhardt would get seven goals in the first quarter, five in the second, seven in the third, and eight goals in the fourth.
Brady Hanak would lead all goal scorers with 7 goals, but he had several teammates that had multi-goal games. Lux ended up with 4 total goals, Carter Maurice and Wyatt Maddox followed with 3 each, and Cameron Cochran, Reece Dotterer, and JR Sess each had 2 goals.
Stefan Duckett, Mason King, Benji Shalckleford, and Rett Cannon all had one goal each to help the Eagles in the rout. Cochran led the way in assists with 7 total.
Ezequiel Ceant was 22 for 31 in faceoffs and he had 10 ground balss. Liam Wright played the entire game in goal for the Eagles recording 2 saves on 3 shots by the Knights.
The Eagles will be at home again this weekend with games on Saturday and Sunday. Both opponents are Preseason Top 10 and will be a good test for the Eagles. Sienna Heights is first on Saturday at 3 pm and then Indiana Tech (ranked #2) is scheduled for Sunday at 3 pm.
