Eagles Back on the Winning Track

West Palm Beach, FL - After coming off an intense game with highly ranked Keiser University on Monday, the #1 ranked Eagles were looking to rebound after narrowly losing to the Seahawks. They would still be playing this game at Keiser University, however, the opponent for this game would be Lawrence Tech. The two teams were playing for the final game of a three-team series on the campus of Keiser. Reinhardt would waste no time at showing the Blue Devils of Lawrence Tech why they are the number one team.
The Eagles would rattle off the first five points of the game in the first quarter led by Senior All-American Dillan Bousquet and Tyler Wilkinson. Both of them either assisted or scored on every goal in the first quarter. Lawrence Tech was able to get two goals in the first quarter, but Reinhardt established an early commanding lead that they would never relinquish. At the end of the first quarter, the Eagles had a 6-2 lead.
In the second quarter, Wilkinson and Bousquet kept their aggressive play going and Cameron Cochran and Brady Hanak started getting involved in the attack. Hanak would have two goals in the quarter and Cochran would assist on two as well. The second quarter saw the Eagles keep their six-point lead, 10-4 Eagles, going into the halftime break.
The third quarter is where the Eagles took off and ran away with the game. Carter Maurice added to what Bousquet, Hanak, Wilkinson, and Cochran were doing in the first half. Carter Maurice was able to get two goals in the third quarter as the others kept doing their normal damage to the opposing team's goal. The Blue Devils were only able to get one goal in the third quarter and the Eagles put away 8 goals extending the lead to 18-5.
The fourth quarter was the icing on the cake as the game was over at this point and the Eagles would cruise to another victory. Lawrence Tech was able to get another two goals, but the Eagles added six more to their total. Titus Thind, JR Sess, and Stefan Duckett all got goals to go along with Bousquet's three additional goals. Reinhardt would walk away with a commanding 24-7 win in South Florida.
Dillan Bousquet would lead the Eagles in scoring with 7 goals and he also had 4 assists. Tyler Wilkinson would lead the team in assists with 6 total and he also had 4 goals. Brady Hanak would end up with 5 goals as well. Liam Wright would lead the Eagles in goal with 5 saves on 10 shots from the Blue Devils.
The Eagles will be back on the road this Sunday for an afternoon game against Madonna in Louisville, Kentucky. The first official home game of the season for the Eagles will be on Friday, March 25th when they host Point University in Waleska.
