Copperhead Course Host Star-Studded Field

PALM HARBOR, Fla. – (Results) The 17th-ranked men's golf team went up against some stellar clubs the last two days on the course in the Invite at Innisbrook at the Copperhead Course down in Florida on Monday and Tuesday.
The Eagles finished the three-round tournament in a tie for 13th place with SCAD-Savannah (Ga.) with a cumulative final score of 57-over-par (909).
Hunter Clay was able to earn a top-20 placement with his 8-over finish after rounds of 75, 72, 74; 221. Five shots behind him was Jack Haller, who moved up the scoreboard five slots in round three (77, 74, 75; 226).
Brooks Gineris was a big mover in the final round as well after he carded a 75 at the Innisbrook Resort to rise 10 spots in the final standings.
The group next tees off in Tennessee for the TWU Invitational beginning on Oct. 9.
