The Eagles Earned A Big Win Over Campbellsville 18-8
Waleska, GA – The Reinhardt Flag Football team had a home game versus the Campbellsville University Tigers, where they earned an impressive 18-8 win. Campbellsville was on offensive and threw a pass that was intercepted by Reinhardt's Dechea Branham and returned the ball for a 75-yard touchdown to go up 6-0 in the 1st quarter. The same kind of play happened in the 2nd quarter, where Caroline Small intercepted for a 18-yard touchdown to go up 12 points to none. This game was full of interceptions with Reinhardt's final touchdown being from an interception from Adriana Brustmeyer for a 14-yard touchdown. Reinhardt ultimately won 18-2 of the Tigers.
Outstanding Performers:
- Kaliah Wimbush had 13 completions and threw for 80 yards.
- Tatianna Allicock had 6 rushes for 24 yards.
- Caroline Small received 4 passes for 39 yards, while Nina Johnson caught 3 passes for 19 yards.
- Defensively, Adriana Brustmeyer had a great game with 14 tackles. Karsyn Padget added 9.
- Caroline Small had 2 interceptions, while Dechea Branham and Adriana Brustmeyer each had 1.
