Reinhardt Football Signs 2024 Recruiting Class
Waleska, GA - Reinhardt Football had its annual signing period on this first Wednesday in February. This is traditionally the time that all high school seniors sign with their chosen programs across America in preparation to the upcoming fall football season. The transfer portal has made a huge impact during the signing period as well as players move from one college program to another.
Reinhardt Football has had many successful signing day periods in the past and the results are seen each fall as they continuously have winning seasons one after the next. They are perennial champions of the Appalachian Athletic Conference since they joined a few years ago after moving from the MidSouth Conference. They are consistent participants in the NAIA National Playoffs which is a great achievement, however, Head Coach James Miller wants to get his team further along in the playoffs. During his first season as head coach, he was able to get the team all the way to the NAIA Championship game, but in the past few years, they have not been able to get past the first round. Each year is a new chance to improve your program and having a successful signing day is the key to making this happen and the coaching staff believes that they are one step closer to making this happen with the current signing class.
Coach Miller had this to say about the recruiting class and the process, "First and foremost my staff has worked so hard to make this signing class happen. I feel like we have added talent to every phase and position within our organization. Our goal is to make our roster as competitive as possible and I feel like we did that today. We were able to add transfers at the mid-year as well as graduating seniors. So a really good mix of some guys with college experience and really good high school football players. We wanted to get bigger and thicker at all positions, and I feel like we hit the mark. I'm just as excited with the caliber of people we were able to bring to the organization they will add value, not only on the field but off the field and in the classroom. Once again, I want to thank our administration and my staff for the effort they put in daily to make this happen. I'm just a small part."
The Eagles will have their annual spring game this February 29th at Ken White Field, which the team usually does in mid to late April. The team has been preparing over the past few weeks and they will be ready to show the parents and fans what the 2024 Reinhardt Eagles will look like.
