Herbert and the Eagles Shutdown the Buffaloes in Game One

Waleska, GA - In a commanding display of dominance, Reinhardt Baseball secured an 11-0 victory against the visiting Buffaloes of Milligan University. The Eagles, led by a stellar pitching performance from All-American Andrew Herbert, who pitched a full-game shutout, never gave the Buffaloes a chance to settle in.

Robert Phelps and Nash Crowell were pivotal in powering the Eagles' offense. Phelps drove in three runs while Crowell, along with Luca Boscarino, each added a solo home run to the Eagles' impressive tally. The team's consistent scoring was highlighted by multiple players including Adrian Vargas, Jacob Mantooth, and Louis Dion, each contributing significantly towards the massive win. Mantooth and Dion combined for four runs, demonstrating the depth and power of the Eagles' lineup.

Phelps was 2 for 3 in the game, Vargas was 2 for 4, and Mantooth was a solid 3 for 3!

The game featured notable individual performances, with Crowell's homer in the third inning and Boscarino's in the sixth standing out.
