The Launching Pad was Open In Montgomery!
Waleska, GA - Reinhardt Baseball went on the road Tuesday late afternoon with a NAIA Top 20 showdown with the Eagles of Faulkner University. The Reinhardt Eagles came out on top with a crushing defeat of the Faulkner Eagles, 10-0. Reinhardt had a balanced game with great pitching and tough hitting at the plate, including four long balls!
The Eagles got timely hitting from Nash Crowell, Luca Boscarino, and Barry Eiseman throughout the game, which slowly put Faulkner out of commission. Nash led the way with two bombs at Harrison Field on the campus of Faulkner. His first was a solo shot in the first inning, putting the Eagles up 1-0. His second came in the fifth inning, which was a 3-run homer, scoring Adrian Vargas and Robert Phelps. Crowell was 2 for 4 in the game with 4 RBIs.
Boascarino's homer came in the second inning and was a solo shot like Crowell's in the first! Boscarino was 2 for 3 in the game with an RBI and a run scored. Eiseman was the offense that ended the game for the Eagles. He homered in the sixth inning, scoring Dryden Howse in the process, and then he had a single in the seventh inning, scoring Adam Harris and Howse one more time.
Reinhardt's pitching (which has been superb to start the season) had another great outing. This time, it was behind the arms of Adam Christopher and Logan Lynch. The combo had 8 total strikeouts - 4 strikeouts each, and both only allowed one hit apiece. The pitching could not have been much better as the Eagles kept the zero on their opponent for the fourth time this season.

Christopher pitched 4.1 innings in the shutout picking up his second win of the season. Lynch has been a great late inning pitcher for Coach Burton's squad giving the team another weapon to go with mid-relief/closer Brett Allen. The win was Reinhardt's eleventh in a row, which is the best start in Eagle Baseball history!
Next for the Reinhardt is a trip to Laurinburg, NC to face the Knights of St. Andrws. This will be the second AAC series this season for the #6 NAIA ranked Eagles!
