Former Braves Star Francoeur Set to Speak at First Pitch Dinner
Waleska, GA - Reinhardt Baseball is coming off its most successful season in the program's history. The Eagles finished third overall in the NAIA World Series in Lewiston, Idaho - coming just inches away from winning the whole thing. It was an historic year for Reinhardt Baseball and they are looking forward to getting things going in 2025. Last season, Atlanta Braves Hall-of-Famer Chipper Jones kicked off the baseball season by speaking at the Annual First Pitch Dinner. Reinhardt Baseball is excited to announce that they have another Atlanta Braves All-Star player - Jeff Francoeur.
Francoeur is a veteran right fielder who played numerous years for the Braves and a few other Major League teams, and he currently is part of the Atlanta Braves broadcast crew. He was a legendary high school football and baseball standout in the state of Georgia and was drafted out of high school by the Atlanta Braves.
The Annual First Pitch Dinner is set for Saturday, January 25th at 6 pm at the Cherokee Conference Center at the Bluffs. Doors open at 5 pm. Tickets are $50 and can be purchased at the following link:

Head Coach Jonathan Burton added this about the First Pitch Dinner, "Another great event for our program as we continue to build from the ground up. These nights will allow us to maintain and improve one of the best baseball facilities at our level. The things we have added for our student-athletes to improve their baseball abilities are made possible because of these types of events. We hope to have as many people as possible to welcome Jeff Francoeur into a night with Reinhardt Baseball. This will be an awesome night for any type of sports fan, don't miss out!."
