Eagles Celebrate Senior Day with a Win over Bryan
Waleska, GA - Reinhardt continued the important series with Bryan that plays a huge role in determining the outcome in the final conference standings that will wrap up next weekend. The Eagles were able to get the win 11 to 7 as they honored the seniors on the team and they picked up the series victory. They will have one final series with Milligan on Thursday and Friday next week and with a sweep - the Eagles should have the second-place spot in the final standings.
The Eagles honored Zach Rabe, Ethan Foley, Jordan Hampton, Alex Coulter, and Parker Miller after the game where they were given a framed jerseys. Each one had an important role in the Bryan series in helping the Eagles win.
Parker Miller would get the start for Reinhardt and he pitched a great game going five and two-thirds innings. He did give up 11 hits and six runs while he was in, but he managed the game and gave the Eagles a much-needed multi-inning performance that allowed the relievers to just pitch small amounts. The Eagles would go through four pitchers in this game and the three that came in after Miller would not give up a single hit or run to finish off the Lions and give the Eagles the win. Will Casel, Jordan Hampton, and Cobey Allison all pitched very well in relief for the Eagles.

Offensively, the Eagles would come alive and make the visiting Lions go through five pitchers trying to find answers to slow down the Eagles. The wind was blowing in so the ball did not leave the park much in the game, however, the power of Dylan Lewis was able to get one out in the eighth inning.
The rest of the Eagles runs would come from base hits, moving runners, and a few throwing mistakes by Bryan. The previous doubleheader day would have the Eagles only scoring 3 total runs in the two games, but today the offense was able to produce plenty of runs to overcome the six runs given up by Parker and the one run by Hampton. It was a good sign for the Eagles as they bounced back from the series game one shutout.
Jarrett Burney and Richard Castro led the Eagles at the plate both going 3 for 4. Tucker Zdunich, Nash Crowell, and Jacob Profit all went 2 for 5 in the game.
