Roy Reynolds joined Reinhardt University in December of 2015 as the third women's lacrosse head coach in the history of the program.

In his first year as head coach of the Eagles, Reynolds led an under-manned Reinhardt side to a 9-5 record and a second-place finish in the Appalachian Athletic Conference. They finished ranked in the NAIA Top 10 in his first two seasons at Reinhardt despite playing a man down both years.

Reynolds has been coaching for 22 years, starting at Walton Youth Lacrosse. He was the MAYLA Girls Select commissioner for three years and the skills coach for ATL Lacrosse for four years. In addition, Reynolds was the head coach of Hotlanta 2017 and President's Cup teams. Reynolds has been a skills instructor for Laxtensity Lacrosse and the community coach at Cherokee High School in Canton, Ga.

Coach Reynolds is going into his 10th year as head coach of Reinhardt Women's Lacrosse where he has won AAC Championships in 2019, 2021, 2022, 2023, and 2024. His teams are two-time NAIA National Quarter-Finalists and one-time NAIA National Semi-Finalists. In 2024, Coach Reynolds led the Eagles to their first-ever NAIA National Championship by beating Lawrence Tech 18-10 in the championship game. He was named NAIA Coach of the Year and the NAIA Coaching Staff of the Year by the IWLCA.

Reynolds has been named AAC Coach of the Year twice during his time as head coach of the Eagles and has coached numerous AAC All-Conference players and NAIA All-Americans. He has over 200 total career wins and has a record of 108-33 at Reinhardt.

Reynolds has designed his program to get the players' self-esteem and skill levels as high as possible.
