Bio

Madison Smith will be entering her first year as the Assistant to the Executive Director of Athletics. Prior to joining Reinhardt, she was at The University of West Georgia serving as The Director of On Campus Recruiting for their football team.

During her time as Director of On Campus Recruiting, Madison was in charge of coordinating and organizing all aspects of the recruiting process. This includes scheduling meals, travel, and prepping for the recruits stay. She managed the communication between the recruits, their families, the coaches, campus partners, and members of the community. She was also in charge of communicating and leading her student assistants to make sure everyone knew their individual roles. Alongside the recruiting process, Smith helped with social media and recruiting graphics for the program.

Before her time at West Georgia, she served as the Graduate Assistant to the Athletic Director at Shorter University. In this role she assisted the Athletic Director, Compliance Director, and the Sports Information Director. Smith helped with confirming athletes’ eligibility, registering athletes, and uploading and updating rosters on the athletic website.

Also in her Grad year, as well as her senior year of college, she served as the Director of Football Operations for Shorter University’s football team. As the DFO, she facilitated game day preparation, travel details such as meals and hotel planning logistics, inventory, and assisted the coaches with day-to-day tasks.

Madison Graduated in December 2022 with her undergraduate degree at Shorter University with a BBA concentrated in accounting. The following year she completed her MBA at Shorter University, concentrating in Sport Management. Madison also participated in competition and sideline cheer her four years of college.
