Men’s and Women's Outdoor Track & Field AAC All-Academic Announced

ASHEVILLE, N.C. – The Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) revealed the 2020 Men's and Women's Outdoor Track & Field All-Academic and Champions of Character squads on Thursday, the AAC office announced.
In total, five members of the men's team and a pair of women's student-athletes were recognized.
To make the AAC All-Academic Team, a student-athlete must carry a cumulative grade-point average of at least 3.25 and be a sophomore, junior, senior or graduate student.

Jalen Everett, So., Valdosta, Ga.
Carson Ivester, Sr., Mount Airy, Ga.
Jonathan Paolozzi, Jr., Jefferson, Ga.
Brandon Starks, So., Powder Springs, Ga.
Women's Track & Field AAC All-Academic
Pam Lalo, Jr., Atlanta, Ga.
Kaitlynn Perry, So., Ball Ground, Ga.

Not to be outdone, Ivester (who was also All-Academic) and Javen Wimberly were named to the AAC Champions of Character Team.
To make the Champions of Character Team, student-athletes are nominated by their coaches based on their modeling of the five core values the NAIA espouses: respect, integrity, responsibility, sportsmanship and servant leadership.
