Eagles WVB Host Tennessee Wesleyan to Earn 3-0 Sweep Over Bulldogs
Waleska, GA – The Reinhardt women's volleyball team made a quick night of it against Tennessee Wesleyan on Thursday night, winning in three straight sets by the scores of 25-13, 25-17, and 25-19. The Eagles dominated in all facets of the match, especially on offense where RU had 43 total kills to hit a whopping .370.
The Eagles maintained consistency and control throughout the entirety of the match, leading in all statistical categories by a margin. Eagles' Katherine Perrin continues to prove she an offensive weapon earning 12 kills on the match to hit a .375. Ashlynn Barnes also does a great job being a leader for her team and also continues to put up great numbers with consistent double-doubles in assists and digs. The Eagles are playing great volleyball right now and are improving as a team with their new pieces added this year.
RU women's volleyball improved their record to 13-3 and 6-2 overall on the season. The Eagles have an important match-up coming up this Saturday, September 30th, at home versus the Bryan College Lions. Please make sure to come out and support as this match would be a great one for the Eagles to get their hands on.
