By Mike DeVader, Reinhardt Director of Athletic Communications & Media
ASHEVILLE, N.C. – (DakStats Page | Video) After earning their third-consecutive Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) title earlier this year, the Eagles are again the top seed in the AAC Championship at the MeadowView Marriott Conference Resort & Convention Center in Kingsport, Tenn.
Reinhardt (29-2, 21-0 AAC) enters the 10-team, single-elimination tournament as the AAC regular-season champion. Since the league was divided into two divisions, a point system was used to determine the seedings. Teams received .5 points for a win over a team within their division and one point for a win versus a team from the other division for a maximum possible 13 points.
Tournament Seedings:
- Reinhardt (Ga.) (29-2 overall, 21-0 AAC - 13 points)
- Point (Ga.) (23-8 overall, 19-2 AAC - 12 points)
- Milligan (Tenn.) (22-10 overall, 16-4 AAC - 11 points)
- Union (Ky.) (18-19 overall, 15-5 AAC - 10.5 points)
