WALESKA, Ga. – Reinhardt made its way back to the top of the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) standings with a 3-0 win over the Koalas of Columbia (S.C.) (25-15,25-14,25-8) inside the Brown Athletic Center on Tuesday evening.
The Eagles (15-2, 9-0 AAC) remained unbeaten at home and did so with a wide-variety of lineups on the floor in each set played. Reinhardt continues to tweak its substitution patterns to get in-game action to younger players and key reserves.
"I'm happy we went 1-0 today, and I'm happy we played three different lineups, but tonight we had no scouting report as tonight wasn't about us," head coach Brian Goodhind said. "Tonight, we played for No. 11… She may be gone physically but she will not be forgotten. I didn't have the honor of knowing Alexis, but she is family, as we are all RU.
Our volleyball program will honor Alexis and we dedicate the rest of our season to our women's lacrosse family and Alexis. We want to be a part of continuing to shine her light. To God goes all the Glory. #PlayFor11."
The hometown team hit .359 overall, including an astounding .417 in set two, as the team collected 43 kills – which were assisted 38 times. Individually, Allison Selway led the way with 10 kills in 17 attempts (.412) and Carlee Baxter had a solid outing as well with four kills and a .571 hitting percentage to go along with 10 assists.

In total, seven players hit .400-or-better in the runaway victory over the Koalas.
