NAIA Names Shope National Player of the Week

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Catherine Shope of Reinhardt (Ga.) has been named the NAIA National Women's Basketball Division II Player of the Week, the national office announced Tuesday.
Shope was nominated for her performances during the week of Nov. 25-Dec. 1 and was selected out of a pool of conference award winners.

- Shope has been a huge reason for the Eagles 9-0 start to the season.
- The sophomore has 25.3 points, 6.7 rebounds and 2.7 assists as a guard
- Scored a career-high 28 points off the bench in Brenau (Ga.) game
- Averaged 51.9 from floor and 61.1 from the three this week

The club looks ahead to more Appalachian Athletic Conference action against Allen (S.C.) tomorrow inside the Brown Athletic Center on Wednesday night at 5:30 p.m.
