ASHEVILLE, N.C. – Michael Carew, the third-ranked wrestler at 174 pounds in the NAIA, has been named the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Wrestler of the Week, the league office revealed on Monday afternoon.
The Gainesville, Ga., native earned a pair of wins – which included a forfeit from Allen (S.C.) – but the highlight of the day on Sunday came against Truett-McConnell (Ga.) as he earned a pin in just 10 seconds.
