By Mike DeVader, Reinhardt Director of Athletic Communications & Media
WALESKA, Ga. – No. 2 Reinhardt flexed its muscles once again at home on the mat in front of the fans inside the Brown Athletic Center as the Eagles earned two victories inside the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) to claim another AAC regular-season title on Senior Day.
The hometown club (17-2, 5-0 AAC) earned all forfeits against Allen (S.C.) for a 60-0 win before taking care of business in a big way over Truett-McConnell (Ga.), 54-4.
Falls were aplenty as Reinhardt recorded three-consecutive pins to open up an 18-0 lead before accepting a trio of forfeits. Michael Carew then wowed the crowd with a 10-second pin for another six points.
