Wrestling Dominates Golden Bears on the Mat Friday

BECKLEY, W.Va. – Second-ranked Reinhardt rolled to another victory inside the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) on Friday night, as the Eagles blanked the Golden Bears of West Virginia Tech, 50-0, to improve to 14-2 overall and 2-0 inside the league.
The matchup started with a pair of decisions from Koby Millner and Jordan Pitt, who helped the team move ahead, 8-0, with 16-0 and 7-1 scores, respectively. Curtis Doctor (149 pounds) won his outing, 6-2, and then after a third forfeit in four matches, Cole Tenety would put on an impressive performance at 174 pounds with a major decision of 22-4.
Tate Holmes (184; 12-2 major decision) and Nicholas Jarvis (285; fall 2:30) wrapped up the evening in dominating fashion.
