Four Times as Nice: Wrestling Takes Weekly Honor Again

ASHEVILLE, N.C. – For the fourth-consecutive week, a Reinhardt grappler earned conference accolades after Curtis Doctor was selected as the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Wrestler of the Week, the league announced Monday.
This is the fourth edition of the weekly honors for the 2019-20 season. The next set of awards will be announced on Dec. 2.
AAC Wrestler of the Week
Curtis Doctor - Jr. - Miami, Fla.
- Went 3-0 on the week with two wins coming against ranked opponents.
- Defeated No. 5 Gaige Torres of Indiana Tech with a 6-3 decision.
- Defeated No. 19 Chasen Brown of Cumberlands (Ky.) with a 7-5 decision.
- Defeated Jalen Soto of Southeastern (Fla.) with a 5-3 decision.
- This is his first weekly honor this season.

The group hopes to keep the momentum rolling in mid-December when it travels to Tennessee for the Smokey Mountain Duals on Dec. 13.
