Warner Disposes of Eagles in Straight Sets

LAKE WALES, Fla. – The Royals of Warner (Fla.) left no doubt on the court Friday night in the Sunshine State as they blanked the Eagles, 3-0 (15-25,17-25,15-25), in Mid-South Conference (MSC) play.
Reinhardt (4-12, 2-4 MSC) accumulated 20 errors and only 25 kills on the evening as it held a hitting percentage of .068 for the match. Conversely, Warner gathered 29 kills compared to just nine miscues en route to a .351 in three sets of action.
Matthew Corrales was the lone Eagle player to hit the 10-plus-point plateau in defeat, as he put together 11 points on 34 attempts. Chase Cross was next in line with a half-dozen kills and John Hynes (.333) added four scores.
Ricardo Mujica continued to get his teammates in the right position to score with 18 assists, and on defense, Reynaldo Medina had half of his club's digs with seven.
Reinhardt scored four times on aces in the loss.
The two-day trip continues tomorrow morning at 9 a.m. against Webber International (Fla.).
