Eagles Tennis Opens Season with Two Big Wins
Canton, GA - Reinhardt Men's and Women's Tennis opened their season on Friday afternoon on their home turf - Bridgemill Athletic Club. Both teams had new additions to go along with their experienced veterans which should make this a very competitive season for Reinhardt Tennis.
Both teams won 7-0 against the visiting Vikings of Berry College. The Women's team took 2 out of the 3 doubles matches and swept the singles, 6-0. The Men's team swept both singles and doubles led by their ace - Luchi Fisicaro. Fisicaro is one of the better tennis players in all of the NAIA.
On the women's side, the team of Camila Neyra & Mia Hoeddinghaus won 6-2 in the second position. Nina Thomet and Pilar Becerra won 6-2 as well in the third doubles team. For singles on the women's side, Neyra held the #1 spot winning, 4-6, 6-4, 10-3. Here are the rest of the Women's Singles Standings

On the men's side, Fisicaro & Pol Masafret won 6-1 in doubles #1. Zak Khalil and Juan Vallejo won 6-1 in the #2 position and in the third doubles team - Said Santin and Ilyas Kouchairi won 6-1 as well. Fisicaro won in the top spot for the Eagles in singles winning 6-3, 6-2. The rest of the Men's Singles are listed below.

The Eagles will be back in action at Bridgemill next week with matchups with Young Harris on Tuesday, February 13th and then on Friday, February 16th, the Eagles will face Xavier University.
